The restaurant has lots of TVs for viewing sports (GO ASTROS!), they have a large patio with a cool bonfire style pit I want to check out when it's cold outside and they are dog friendly, so next time I'll bring my pup. Their lunch specials are under $10 and they don't skimp on the size. I tried a piece and loved it! For her meal, she got the chicken salad sandwich with fries. My friend had the tortilla soup loaded with chicken, yummy cheese and parmesan bread crisp things on the side. Fries were great and the slaw was tasty too. It was so good! It was served with French fried and a side of coleslaw. The whole thing was terrific! The bacon is regular bacon, not their bacon candy. It's a Nathan's hotdog wrapped in bacon, topped with blue cheese dressing (I substituted ranch since I don't care much for blue cheese), a drizzle of buffalo sauce and waffle style potato chips. They are served 4 to a plate, so it's perfect for sharing with another person. It was a little taste of both options we wanted in one. Great spin on regular deviled eggs and that bacon candy is amazing! They have a starter of just bacon candy, but I was concerned that would be too much. They actual fry the outer egg, add the yellow with paprika and top it with their bacon candy. They have sweet tea and it's goooood! We started with the crispy deviled eggs. I've been wanting to try this place for awhile and finally made it happen today! Great service, cool atmosphere, delicious food and priced lower than I expected.
